Airflo Super Dri

More than a decade ago Airflo revolutionized the fly line industry by developing the technology to build lines from Pollyurethane instead of the PVC used by all the other manufacturers, and in the process created a series of fly lines that were infinitatly more durrable, stayed cleaner, floated better, and eliminted the excessive stretch that plagued conventonal PVC lines. Now, Airflo’s next quantim leap forward in fly line technology has arrived—Super Dri—which takes advantage of a wave of new nano-engineered hydorphobic materials that give us what amounts to a Super Teflon fly line that repells water and dirt so effectivly that they float higher and pick up from the waer is noticably easier (less friction) than any other fly line on the planet. And, these supple floaing lines are reinforced in the “haul zone” with a stiffer coating to bring increased csting ease and distance into the equation.

Super Dri Elite

Super Dri River and Stream

Airflo Streamer Max—Short

While these Streamer Max fly lines were originally designed for getting big flies deep into fast running freshwater currents, they’re also absolutely perfect for surf fishing and other on-shore saltwater fly fishing pursuits—Saltwater safe—in water temps from 40-86 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, the Streamer Max Short is available in 200, 240, and 280 gr. weights—ideal for more accurately matching the lighter 6-8 weight rods most often used for surf and general on-shore saltwater fly fishing. As with all Airflo fly lines, these Streamer Max Short lines are made with Polyurethane instead of PVC, making them infinitely more durable, able to stand up to all manner of bug sprays, etc., that will kill conventional fly lines. Also, their “Power Core” has way less stretch than conventional PVC lines for better hooking characteristics. Cold Saltwater Sniper

Airflo breaks with tradition to solve the most common problem facing saltwater fly fishers: casting as far as possible into the wind with large flies. The Sniper series of floating, fast-intermediate, and fast sinking line densities gives casters “easy distance” by concentrating the mass of the weight forward portion of the line into a 30’ head. Shorter heads sink well and are easier to roll cast to the surface prior to the next cast. The running line is made from a supple, no-tangle coating over a new low memory, low stretch braid core. This new running line core material allows for a solid hook set at long distance—without tangles. The three Sniper lines—floating fast Intermediate, and type-7 fast sinking—have different weights and tapers to optimize their performance, and should be ordered according to the number (8, 9, or 10) normally required for a given rod—Airflo does the rest.
